WYSA Notice To All WYSA Teams Regarding Conduct
Dear All WYSA Members,
Over the past several weeks there have been an alarming number of player to player physical abuse incidents that go beyond normal contact within a competitive sport.
We are advising every coach, player, manager, parent and fan that participates in WYSA that this type of behavior is not acceptable and any further incidents of physical violence during WYSA matches will not be tolerated whatsoever, and will be dealt with swiftly and to the full extent of our authority.
Whether you are the aggressor or retaliator, harsh punishment will ensue if you are involved in such an incident.
One of WYSA’s top priorities is the health and safety of our players. We feel that no player should have to be fearful for their own safety while playing the beautiful game.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of our Code of Conduct found in our Rules and Regulations Article 11. Please read this document and become familiar with it.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at the WYSA office.
