As a proud supporter of Canada’s National Teams, Mondelez (the makers of Ritz, Chips Ahoy, and more) is looking to give back to the Canadian soccer community this summer by donating a total of $100,000 to community soccer clubs. Visit www.PrideandJoy2015.ca and share how your club could use $5,000 to enhance soccer in your community for your chance to be selected.
Entering only takes a few minutes, so don’t delay! As part of your submission, be sure to add links to any social media accounts and upload any club photos and crests.

MANITOBA SOCCER INTRODUCES SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
The Manitoba Soccer Association has recently introduced a social media policy for all participants of the sport of soccer! The policy can be summarized in four basic principles:
1. Be truthful, respectful, polite, and fair
2. Do not say things that you would not want said of you
3. Use social media only when appropriate
4. Keep appropriate and common sense barriers between participants, such as between coaches or team staff and players

FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TROPHY COMING TO WINNIPEG!
The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015™ is set to kick off on June 6, but fans can get a taste of what’s to come when the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola launches its two-month, 12-city tour starting April 1 in Ottawa. Travelling from coast-to-coast in celebration of soccer and women in sport, Canadians will have a rare chance to get up-close-and-personal with the real FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy at the free events. WYSA OPEN TRANSFER WINDOW
The Open Transfer window, which allows for player's to permanently transfer from one district to another, opens this week on January 15 and closes January 30. Please note, the policy is only valid for U9-U12 Developmental and U13-U18 Premier players and does also have other restrictions. 2014 WYSA SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association is happy to announce that Chelsea Dubiel and Christine Vaccaro were the 2014 WYSA scholarship recipients! This annual scholarship is awarded to outstanding individuals who have a good academic standing and have been involved within the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association as a player, coach, and/or referee. Both Chelsea and Christine's strong personal attributes, leadership qualities, and community involvement exemplify the values the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association looks for in awarding the scholarship. We'd like to congratulate both, Chelsea and Christine, and thank all those who applied!
2014 DONATION TO CHILDRENS HOSPITAL FOUNDATION OF MANITOBA
The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association has donated another $25,000 to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba today, the net proceeds of this past summer's tournament! We are extremely happy to support such a worthy cause and know that would not be possible without our great soccer community who max out registration every year! This year's donation brings our total donation to $340,000 since 1991! Thank you agin to our amazing soccer community!

What is the Transfer Table Committee and how does it work?
The Transfer Table Committee is chaired by a WYSA Representative with other members representing the 5 District Clubs. The Committee deals with all Inter-District Transfers for each season. Players are first placed by need of the Clubs (we need to make viable teams) and then player preference.
